Beginner 2
"for swimmers who need a little technical help"
Introduction:
The Beginner 2 stage is aimed at swimmers who have a basic understanding of each stroke but still need a little help with developing the breathing practises. The key focus at this level is developing some distance in the swims and linking in the breathing practises.

Skill Required:

Swimmers at this stage should be safe out of their depth.

Have a basic understanding of the 3 main swimming strokes Front crawl, Back crawl, Breaststroke, Butterfly (Optional)

Be confident over a minimum of 10m, width or half length of the pool.
​
Distance covered:
10m -25m unsupported ​
